Eligibility Criteria:

• Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident;

• Must be a Resident of Ontario;

• Must be attending or will be attending (by fall of the submission year) a registered post-secondary program in or leading into a music or dance related degree or diploma. Preference will be given to those who are brass, percussion, or dance performers, and to those who are contracted to perform with a drum corps in the current award year. All instruments are welcome;

• Must adhere to the following application process.

 

Application Process:

• Application must be received by July 31, 2025;

• Application must include the applicants full name, address, email address, and phone number;

• Application must include a 150 word or less description of the applicants music or dance career goals and accomplishments;

• Application must include a maximum 2-3 minute solo performance video; an additional video of performance in a group is also welcome; finalist's may be required to do a live “Zoom” audition for the selection committee;

• Application must include proof of enrolment in a registered post-secondary program in or leading into a music or dance related degree or diploma; proof of application to a program will be accepted if enrolment has not been confirmed, however, the scholarship cannot be awarded until enrollment confirmation is received.

• If applicable, copy of drum corps contract or letter from the corps director.
